Integration of organizations/ individuals interested in Social welfare

Introduction:

We can do some great things alone but we can do many great things that are much efficient and in a wider range when we do things together. The good deeds that are done by organizations/ individuals for a particular target group could reach even the remote areas only by integration and exchange of communication. Every organization/ individual shall function in their own way and according to their capacity but when their good deeds are communicated it could add on to the beneficiaries wherever applicable and also support from genuine people to increase efficiency. Also, there is a greater possibility of equal distribution and utilization of resources and welfare works could reach the unreached places.

Ways of working

Each Block (Cluster of Villages/towns/cities) will have NGO’s and GO’s in which many people will be working for the welfare of the people. A representative from each of them shall be part of the field level association. A representative from the field level associations shall be part of the first (District) level association. A representative from the first level association shall be part of the second (State) level association. A representative from the second level association shall be part of the third (nation) level association. Even if there is a need, there shall be Local association at the Village/ Town/ City level.

Yearly twice the association meeting could be held first at the field level (and locally if it exists) during March and September, but communication can be between the representatives frequently, about the programs and events that would benefit target groups but associated with different individuals or organizations. Likewise, the meeting could be held next for the first level association during April and October, for second-level association in May and November, and for the third level association in June and December. If there is an emergency condition like a disaster or epidemic or riot, a meeting shall be called on in between. 

The plans for the next 6 months and a brief report about the works of the individuals, different NGO’s and GO’s can be presented during the meeting.

Possibility of working together by different NGO’s and GO’s can be analyzed. 

Suggestions for improvements could be shared, also suggestions for starting something new can be told. It could be taken/ left by the organization/ individual according to their need or possibility.

Roles and Responsibilities:

There will be a rolling association (per year) members, based on election/ selection in the first meeting. A person who has once been part of the association shall not be a member again (for many faces to take a chance) in the same association for the next 8 years (applies for all four level association). Maybe the person shall part of any of the other three-level associations.

The association shall elect/select the president, secretary, and treasurer to convene and conduct the meeting, as well as make sure that the communication is spread on to the field by all the representatives. 

Preliminary work:

In order to integrate the organizations in a block/ district, first, the contact details such as E-mail ID and Mobile number of the person-in-charge organization in a block/ district needs to be identified. It could be found out through NGO portals such as https://ngodarpan.gov.in , in which the details are available. If possible, the different places around the locality shall be visited and enquired from the people. An Individual who has working knowledge in browsing and Spreadsheet like MS Excel shall collect the data and communicate via email or in-person and share the idea of integration.
